The building accommodates commercial functions from the ground to the 4th floor,
with a distinct double-height main entrance on the south-west corner. From the 5th
to the 15th floor, it transitions into residential living, with 10 units per floor.
Each unit has been designed to maximize cross-ventilation and daylight, ensuring a
healthy indoor environment suitable for the tropical climate. Semi basement area
arranged with super shops where basement area is parking.
A key aspect of the project is the clear separation of access: commercial users and
residents each have dedicated entrances, with residential entry points located
on the north and south sides for privacy and security.
Materiality reflects a dialogue between tradition and modernity. Locally available
brick connects the design to Bangladesh’s architectural heritage, while exposed
concrete highlights structural clarity and glass ensures transparency and
openness. Together, they create a contemporary yet contextually grounded
architectural expression.
Overall, the tower is envisioned as a vertical community, balancing the energy
of commercial activity with the calm of residential life, while celebrating the
cultural and climatic context through material choice and spatial design.
